Suzanne's work is abstract and expressionistic, each painting is a response to the way she feels, both physically and emotionally.
"Colour is the major inspiration for my work. Colour stops me in the street, invites me to breathe it in and take it with me.
Colours resurface as I paint, as do past and present experiences. I am able to manipulate the colour and present moods, from initial automatic gestural marks into a balanced composition." |
