Ferdinando Di Maso was born in S. Agata dei Goti, Italy in 1979. He obtained a degree in Industrial Design at the Istituto Europeo di design in Rome. He currently lives and works in Campobasso, Italy.
The artistic career of Ferdinando Di Maso is based on his mental pursuit of art, drifting away from the traditional issues that art deals with. He is not interested in the ethical meaning of an artwork, but he is interested in creating concrete and real images that our mind "produces" through a "design" aiming at a precise purpose. The art of Ferdinando Di Maso is far from the unconscious dimension and automatism.
