After leaving St Martins School of Art in 1989, I took time out to raise my three children, during which time I worked on several commissions. In 1997 I took on my studio and returned to full-time painting, working in three main areas; human figure, trees and fish.

More recently my fish paintings have taken on other aspects such as movement and exploration of living fish rather than studies of dead fish. I feel there is still a lot more to explore within this subject and will continue with it until I feel it is time to move on.
